Petition for Iranian Consular Office In the GTA

To: Iranian Embassy in Ottawa and Government of Canada
We, the undersigned, are in support of establishing a consular visa office by Iranian Embassy in the Greater Toronto Area.

Census Toronto Metropolitan 2001 show the number of Iranian origins in Toronto were more than 41000 and that number has been climbing up to triple since then.

A majority of Iranian live in Toronto still has strong tie to their native land, and we need to renew or obtain the traveling documents from Iranian embassy in Ottawa in order to visit our families back in Iran.

In doing this, we will significantly decrease in the number of traveling and the waiting time to obtain the needed visa related documents.

By approving to have such an office in the Greater Toronto Area we feel that we are not invisible or ignored.

We understand this will be subject to official approval. We are asking our elected member of parliaments and Iranian Official in Ottawa to help make this a reality.
Sincerely,
